DABACO BREEDING CHICKEN COMPANY LIMITED

DABACO Breeding Chicken Co., Ltd. is a subsidiary of DABACO Group Vietnam, specializing in the research, selection, production, and supply of high-quality poultry breeds.

Established in 1996, the company continuously innovates its technology and develops high-productivity breeds suited to Vietnam's livestock farming conditions. With a modern production system and a closed-loop biosecurity process, DABACO currently supplies approximately 30–40 million breeding birds annually, partnering with farmers to enhance production efficiency and foster sustainable development.

Milestones

Formation and development

1996

Establishment of the Lac Ve Industrial Breeding Chicken Enterprise.

Laying the foundation for DABACO's poultry breeding, production, and trading operations.

1999

Investing in system modernization

Invest in modernizing housing facilities and implementing automated equipment for livestock rearing and herd management.

2007

Colored-feather chicken

Shift strongly towards the research and development of high-quality colored chicken breeds to meet the market's increasingly diverse demands.

2009 – 2010

Launch of various new chicken breeds under the DABACO brand.

At the same time, it became the first entity in Vietnam to successfully apply artificial insemination techniques to chickens, achieving a breakthrough in productivity and the quality of breeding stock.

2012

Investment in the DABACO 9-Spurred Chicken Research Center

Investing in the DABACO Nine-Toed Chicken Research Center to conserve and develop a rare Vietnamese genetic resource.

2014 -2024

Awards Received May 24, 2015: "Trusted Vietnamese Product/Service" Award for the Dabaco J-chicken breed. January 10, 2014: Received High-Tech Agricultural Enterprise certification. November 23, 2015: Received the "Golden Rice Ear" Award (Vietnam). May 19, 2024: First Prize for Dabaco No. 1 Mia Chicken – "Gold Product of Vietnam's Livestock Industry" (Vietnam Livestock Association).

2018

Receive awards

Area: Nearly 5 hectares in Rung Dai Village, Tam Tien Commune, Yen The District. Investment capital: Approximately 10 million USD (equivalent to 200 billion VND). Capacity: Rearing approximately 60,000 purebred foundation chickens and producing about 5 million parent-stock chickens annually. Technology and Operations Equipment: Closed-system housing and livestock/hatching equipment imported from Europe and the US, featuring automated, computer-controlled operations. Objectives: Researching, conserving, and breeding rare chicken varieties (such as the Ho chicken) and supplying high-quality parent-stock chickens.

2015 đến nay

We are intensifying research into indigenous chicken breeds using modern breeding technologies and have successfully developed the DABACO Mía No. 1 and DABACO J No. 1 lines. Simultaneously, we are applying BLUP and RFI technologies, precision nutrition, and biosecurity solutions to enhance productivity, reduce feed consumption, and promote sustainable poultry farming.
